D1-Beijing to Qufu: Transfer the client to Beijing railway station to catch the overnight train K51 to Qufu(23:34dept.-08:19arri, soft sleeper , 4 occupancies within one cabin);
D2(LD)-Qufu: After met by our local guide at station, tour starts at Confucius Temple, the Confucius Family Mansion and Confucius Family Graveyard. Then transferredred from Qufu to Taian City by road ( 1.5 driving hrs ). Free for rest of the day. Stay at 3 stars Hotel
D3(BLD)-Taian: Enjoy the Mt. Taishan by cable car acommpanied with our guide, strollng slightly at the Mt.Taishan then visit the Dai Temple at the foot of Mt.Tai. After dinner,transfer to station for overnight train K52 back to Beijing(21:11dept.-08:19arri, soft sleeper)

  Qingdao The beautiful seaside city of Qingdao is located on Jiaozhou Bay on the Yellow Sea. It is one of the closest Chinese cities to Korea and Japan, making Qingdao an important port for international trade. In addition to its industry and commerce, Qingdao is also known for its coastal scenic view, European buildings in European architecture, historical residences and tourist attractions.
In the first half of the 1900s, Qingdao was a colony of Germany and Japan, thus Qingdao has a great deal of colonial architecture, particularly in European influence. It is sometimes called the Switzerland of the Orient, owing to it's red-roof buildings, green trees, blue sea and sky.
 
  The city is surrounded by sea on three sides, so part of the attraction is to walk along the waterside, enjoy the beach and listen to the waves breaker.Furthermore, there are plenty of sightseeing opportunities,such as the Eight Passes Villas, Zhanqiao Pier, May 4th Square and Mt. Laoshan. Another “ must “ or attraction of this city is its local cuisine of seafood since this is the very place where you could enjoy a great variety of living seafood coming from the sea.

  Zhanqiao Pier
Zhanqiao Pier is the symbol of Qingdao, originally completed in 1891 as a naval pier and was expended by German colonists in 1897.It is accompanied by a traditional two- story Chinese style pavilion and the impressive Zhan Bridge. The pavilion stands in contrast to European architecture in the background, but the bay, islands and lighthouse make it an enchanting location and a hub of activity.

  Small Qingdao Island
East of the pier is the violin-shaped island of Small Qingdao Island (Xiao Qing Dao), with its octagonal white-marble lighthouse.German built lighthouse at the beginning of the last century has become known locally as the “ floating light of isle”. The isolation of the Small Qingdao was formed by the sea erode in years as it was originally belonged to the mainland. After dark, the lighthouse beacon can be seen furthest of 12 miles out to sea which is a must-see destination, day or night.
 
  Qingdao Fort
Qingdaoshan fort was firstly built from 1899 to 1905 by German army. In 1897, German army occupied Jiao Zhou Bay and landed on Qingdao. German colonial ruling mechanism was set up in Qingdao soon after the Sino-German Jiaozhou renting treaty was signed. They spent 1.85 million marks to build serialsof military forts and Qingdaoshan fort was built at that time.

  It is a perpetual fort which is made up of three parts: South fort, North Fort and underground headquarters. South fort lies on the high rock in the South of Qingdaoshan with four 280 mm cannons and two 210 mm cannons on disposal there, while North fort is on the high rock in the North of Qingdaoshan. It has two 150 mm cannons. The fort occupies a commanding position with Taipingshan fort in the East and Chushuishan fort in the Northwest. Some other forts built at the same time are Zhanshan No.1 fort, Zhongjiawa South No.2 fort, Zhongjiawa East No.3 fort, Taipingzhen Southeast No.4, and several other forts. In 1914, Japanese defeated the German force and took the place in Qinddao. When the German withdrew, they blew up Qingdao fort, but a small part was still left undamaged. At present, part of the fort and Huiquan fort are well preserved. In 1984 Qingdao People’s Governmanet made the fort in public an important unit of cultural relics. In 1994, the fort became a Education Base of Patriotism.  
  Qingdao Beer Museum
Tsintao Beer is the best-known Chinese Beer in the world and at home. It has become one of the major exports of Qingdao internationally.) The the local residents are rightfully proud of their brewery, and have constructed a museum that offers samples of their beer. The museum chronicles the brewery's century-old history through interactive and entertaining displays.

Qingdao Museum
Founded in 1965, the Qingdao Municipal Museum is the official history museum of the city. The museum houses over 30 exhibits, with more than 100,000 pieces of cultural treasures, including calligraphy, painting, pottery and porcelain, bronze, ancient coins, and carvings in tortoise shell, bamboo, wood, ivory, and animal horn etc.

There is a Chinese park designed classically at the top of the Hill. The bird’s- eyes view of Huiquan Bay and pavilions in the park from Mt. Xiaoyushan Park has made a more beautiful scene to the whole area. The eight-cornered building with three floors standing on the top of the hill is crowned as “ Seeing Waves Tower” has added a poetic feeling to the scenic design and beautiful landscape.

Governor House in royal German style is located at the foot of Signal Hill, and is known locally as "Guest House." It is one of the many impressive villas in the Qingdao area. At the time of German colonization, this was the Governor's official residence, and its architecture is remarkably built with delicate ornaments, graceful lines and bold colors.
 
  Granite Mansion
The Granite Mansion, another stately residence, was built for the German governors. Its Chinese name is Huashilou, the architecture with the blend of Roman and Gothic styles. This bold and granite architecture, once the expression of authority, was built in 1906 as the German Governor’s office building. The building had been switched as the seat of Qingdao Municipal Government after the liberation of the city.

Badaguan Scenic Area is famous for its picturesque residences and luxuriant trees growing along each of the main avenues. The original streets are named after the eight famous passes in China, that is why the residents as the area of "Eight Passes.". After liberation, two more major avenues were built in the area, keeping or remaining the original name unchanged along with its scenic beauty. Amid the shade trees and flower gardens are magnificent villas, each with a unique style to the foreigners who built them and called Qingdao home. Shihu Garden
Shihu Garden has a nickname, the Ten Tablet Garden. During the Ming and Qing dynasties this was the residence of a high official. In 1885 the owner converted it into a private garden. Because of its tiny size, the local people joked that it was no larger than ten wooden tablets.

Yangjiabu Kite Factory
The Yangjiabu Kite factory is the largest kite factory in China with an annual output of over one million kites. You will have the chance to learn the procedures of making a kite with 12 steps, and furthermore you could even try it with your own hands on how to make a kite.
Kite Museum
The museum is built with the design looks like a flying dragon, inspired by a special kite. There are more than 2,000 kites on display variedly from the traditional to the outrageous, plus an extensive collection of foreign kites.

Located by the seaside of the Yellow Sea, the 1,133-meter-high Mt. Laoshan is known as the No.1 religious mountain along China's coastline and the birthplace of Taoism. Laoshan Mountain has a humid temperate climate. It is an important shrine for spreading Taoism, known as the "Second Largest Taoist Monastery in the World". Grotesque rocks in the mountain resemble all kinds of live creatures, so Laoshan Mountain is known as a natural sculpture park. The ancient trees, rare vegetation and rich natural resources, especially mineral water and undersea jades, have made Laoshan Mountain widely known.

  Qufu optional tours Qufu is the legendary birthplace of Confucius; it served as the capital of the State of Lu during the Spring and Autumn Period. The Temple of Confucius, Cemetery of Confucius, and the Kong Family Mansion in Qufu, have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1994. They are the major cultural attractions of Qufu.
Confucius is the world-renowned Chinese philosopher born in Qufu more than 3,500 years ago. His influence on Chinese society culture lasts until the present day. Qufu has recently been restored to its former glory. It has become a tourist attraction rivaling the Great Wall.
 
  Qufu optional tours In size and scale, the Confucius Temple ranks second only to the Forbidden City in Beijing. Construction of the Temple began in 478 B.C., the year after Confucius's death. It was rebuilt many times throughout the ensuing 3,000 years. The Temple grounds cover an area of 33 hectares with buildings laid out symmetrically along a 0.6-mile north-south axis. There are 53 magnificent gateways and numerous halls, pavilions and shrines elaborately roofed with glazed tiles.
Each year at Qufu and at many other Confucian temples a ceremony is held on September 28 to commemorate Confucius' birthday.

  Mt.Tai/Taishan optional tours Mount Tai is a mountain of historical and cultural significance located north of the city of Tai'an, in Shandong Province, China. The tallest peak is Jade Emperor Peak, which is reported as 1532.7 metres tall. Mount Tai is one of the "Five Sacred Mountains of Taoism". It is associated with sunrise, birth, and renewal, and is often regarded the foremost of the five. The temples on its slopes have been a Mt.Tai/Taishan optional tours
  destination for pilgrims for 3,000 years. Mount Tai also has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.
Visitors can reach the peak of Mount Tai via a bus which terminates at the Midway Gate to Heaven, from there a cable car connects to the summit. Covering the same distance on foot takes from two and a half to six hours. The supplies for the many vendors along the road to the summit are carried up by porters either from the Midway Gate to Heaven or all the way up from the foot of the mountain.
